Bombay in the Bay is a student-run Bollywood performance that showcases a variety of dance styles. Organized by Saratoga High School’s Indian Cultural Awareness Club, the annual show’s goal is to bring students and our entire community together through dancing, singing, and acting. Our showcase features more than 125 participants spanning all years of high school, who have spent countless hours perfecting their performances. Taking inspiration from the hit Netflix show Indian Matchmaking, our show this year follows the story of arranged marriages with Bollywood twists and turns.
In addition, each year we donate all our profits to a chosen charity. This year, we have decided to donate to Deepsikha, a cancer care trust.
This year, COVID-19 has highly impacted our show. In order to host the show, we relocated it from a traditional indoor theater to a drive-in movie format, so people can enjoy our performance with their families from the safety of their cars. We hope everyone enjoyed the show!
